Astrec Baltic OÜ Basis for Quality Assurance of Training
1. General Provisions
1.1 In ensuring the quality of continuing education, Astrec Baltic OÜ (hereinafter the “Trainer”) is guided by the Adult Education Act, the articles of association of the institution, the basis of study organization, and other documents intended for the internal use of the institution.
1.2 In conducting training and communicating, the Trainer is guided by a value-based relationship, openness, honesty, and helpfulness.
1.3 The Trainer organizes continuing education in the following fields:
1.3.1. Database and network design and administration;
1.3.2. Electronics and automation;
1.3.3. Information and communication technology.
2. Conditions and Procedure for Ensuring the Quality of the Learning Environment
2.1. The training premises, training equipment, and study materials comply with occupational health and safety requirements.
2.2. The Trainer’s premises are located at Vana Tartu mnt. 79A, Peetri. The furnishings of the training room include proper lighting, study tables and chairs, a computer, a whiteboard, and all necessary study materials and equipment.
2.3. To ensure the quality of the learning environment, the furnishings of the premises are improved, and the study materials and equipment used are continuously updated as needed.
3. Conditions and Procedure for Ensuring the Quality of Curricula
3.1. In compiling curricula, the Trainer is guided by the Adult Education Act, the continuing education standard, and the guidelines for compiling a continuing education curriculum.
3.2. The curricula for the Trainer’s public training courses specify at least the following information:
3.2.1. the name of the curriculum;
3.2.2. the curriculum group;
3.2.3. the learning outcomes;
3.2.4. the conditions for commencing studies, if these are prerequisites for achieving the learning outcomes;
3.2.5. the total volume of study, including the proportion of classroom, practical, and independent work;
3.2.6. the content of the study;
3.2.7. the description of the learning environment;
3.2.8. the list of study materials, provided that study materials are required to complete the curriculum;
3.2.9. the conditions for completion and the documents to be issued;
3.2.10. the description of the qualification, study, or work experience required of the trainers to conduct the training.
3.3. In compiling the curriculum, the Trainer is guided by the needs of the target group, ensuring that the training courses have a practical orientation and enable the trainee to achieve the learning objectives.
3.4. The approved curricula for open training courses are published on the institution’s website. To ensure the quality of the curricula, they are reviewed once a year, and changes are made as necessary. Changes are also made, if necessary, based on feedback received from the participants.
4. Basis for Ensuring the Quality of Trainers
4.1. All trainers possess the appropriate qualifications for conducting the training and have work experience as partners of manufacturers in the respective field. All trainers are specialists who, in a learning situation, can support adult learning and self-development with their knowledge.
4.2. The qualifications and study or work experience of all trainers teaching within the framework of open training courses are described on the Trainer’s website.
4.3. The work of the trainers is evaluated based on the oral and written feedback from the training participants. If necessary, solutions to any bottlenecks that arise are found in cooperation with the trainer.
5. Procedure for Collecting Feedback on Continuing Education
5.1 The Trainer asks participants for feedback after every training course. Feedback can be provided both in writing on paper and via email. Feedback can be provided either by name or anonymously.
5.2. The Trainer analyzes the received feedback and, if necessary, makes changes to the conduct or organization of the training.
