Fujikura Field Connectivity Solutions

Fujikura Field Connectivity Solutions

Mechanical splice products such as FAST™ and FAST™ Plus support fast no-fusion installation. FuseConnect™ splice-on connectors add fusion-based connectorization where site conditions, tooling or performance requirements call for a different method.

Fujikura field-installable products are designed for predictable optical, mechanical and environmental behavior in real installations. This helps technicians reduce inconsistent terminations, avoid rework and keep quality under control.

Field-installable connectors and mechanical splices help restore damaged fibers quickly without a full splicing setup. They are useful in access networks, temporary links, emergency repairs and constrained field conditions where service time matters.

The range fits FTTH drops, access networks, central offices, data centers, temporary links and field repair tasks. It supports compact tooling, installation speed and repeatable connector quality in daily telecom installation and maintenance work.

Fujikura field connectivity range can be understood through two practical methods: mechanical splice-based termination and fusion splice-on connectorization. Both methods support field work, but they fit different tooling, speed, performance and restoration requirements.

Fujikura field connectivity can be selected by installation method. FAST™ and FAST™ Plus are mechanical splice connectors for fast field termination without a fusion splicer. FuseConnect™ products are splice-on connectors for sites where fusion splicing is available and connector performance must be closer to a permanent factory-style termination.

Mechanical Splice Elements are different: they are used to join two fibers without adding a connector. This makes them practical for repair, restoration, temporary links or access network work where the priority is a compact fiber-to-fiber connection with simple field tooling.
